Google is trying hard to work on the common sense machine with a new research center that is dedicated to advancing the new technology. Much of the work would be on teaching machines common sense, language understanding and perception.
Focus on understanding
This machine is based on Zurich and the team would be focusing on three areas understanding, language and computer perception. Emmanuel Mogenet would be heading the unit. One of the key focuses would be on teaching computers common sense. They would also include spam filters, translation as well as content removal tools and virtual helper Google assistant.
Focus in human machine dialogue
Another key focus would be on improving the human machine dialogue. The next stage would focus on customer requirements. The researchers would also brink on the fact that how and why machines learn better and why this learning pattern really works well. This would be one of the best moves by the Google researchers and would be a sign of creativity and computational intuition.
